  • Membership

    What business issues can you help me with?

    Our experienced business advisers are able to help members with any business issues relating to finance, HR, legal, health and safety, purchasing, business development and management. Whatever questions you've got, we're here to help.

    Who can join?

    We are currently only able to help businesses in the United Kingdom. To join you must be the owner of a privately-owned small or medium-sized business or start-up with a registered business address in the UK.

    How long does membership last for?

    Memberships are sold on an annual subscription basis lasting 12 months.

    Can I upgrade my membership?

    If you'd like added support and enhanced insurance, plus business law guides, you can choose add the Employer Xtra package to your annual subscription. You can upgrade at any time by calling us on 0845 130 1722.

    Membership isn't suitable for my business, but I support your lobbying. What can I do to help?

    There is still a lot that you can do to help us with our lobbying and campaigning activities. Get in touch with us by calling 0845 130 1722.

  • Payment methods

    How can I pay for membership?

    You can choose to pay online for your membership by debit or credit card payment, or recurring annual Direct Debit. For other payment options call us on 0845 130 1722 to discuss with an adviser.

  • Renewals

    Will you renew my membership automatically?

    You agree to pay an annual fee (annual subscription) to the Forum of Private Business Ltd, the sum of which is set by the Forum of Private Business Ltd from time to time.

    Payment of the annual subscription is due in full at the start of your membership and nannually thereafter. Annual subscriptions are payable in full at the commencement and at each renewal date.

    Membership of the Forum of Private Business Ltd is for a minimum of 12 months and shall renew annually unless terminated in accordance with Clause 4.  See our full Terms and Conditions

  • Cancellations

    Can I cancel my membership?

    Should you wish to cancel your membership, you are required to do so in writing. Unless such notice of intention is given, subscriptions are payable in full annually.

    The Forum of Private Business Ltd will be entitled to cancel your membership if:

    • Any fee including but not limited to the annual subscription fee remains unpaid for a period of one month from the date that payment is due;
    • You (in the opinion of the Forum of Private Business Ltd behave inappropriately towards other members or towards the Forum of Private Business Ltd;
    • You (in the opinion of the Forum of Private Business Ltd) bring the Forum of Private Business Ltd into disrepute;
